Machu Picchu Mountain is 3200 meters above sea level, 800 meters above with respect to the Citadel of Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu Mountain is located in front of the Huayna Picchu Mountain and to the left side of the Inca Trail.

In this case children under 7 years are excluded from entrance to Machu Picchu. However, they should go with their parents and / or relatives prior identification in the check point entrance to archeoligical site, need not be registered in advance.
